Joan, age 81, of Macedon NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2024. She was predeceased by her mother, Irene Pellerin; father, Austin Leech; brothers, James Leech and John Leech.

Joan is survived by her husband, Stephen Hanrahan; son, Jeffrey (Lynette) Ruebens; daughters, Tracy (Roland) Sperber and Lisa (Michael) Doyle; son, Michael (Mary Beth) Hanrahan; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and many, many dear friends and family.

Joan served many years dedicated to the Palmyra volunteer fire department and oxygen squad as an advanced life support technician. She enjoyed her many years working in the school cafeteria at the Pal-Mac school system. She loved working as an activity leader at Crest Manor Nursing Home until retirement and continued to volunteer for several years afterwards.

Arrangements will be private for the family.
