Macedon - Joan passed away on April 30, 2024, at age 88. She was predeceased by her husband Samuel Rockowitz; parents, Joseph & Mary Corriea; and brother Joseph Corriea.

Joan is survived by her daughters, Sandra Fisher and Linda (Bill) McGuire; grandchildren, Alexandra Winkler, William McGuire, and Kenneth (Michelle) McGuire; great grandchildren, Liam Yanchik and Charlotte McGuire; and sisters Louise Leite and Lucy Rissler.

Throughout her life, Joan found joy in cooking, gardening, and treasure hunting through thrift shops. Joan adored animals and found joy in their company. Her warm and outgoing nature endeared her to everyone she met, leaving a lasting impact on those around her.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joan's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , which was a cause near and dear to her heart.
