Joan Schwenk

Macedon: Passed away on January 20, 2016 at age 73.  Joan was born on June 14, 1942 in Riverside, NY to the late Forrest and Genevieve Ayer.  She was predeceased by her husband, Albert "Red" Schwenk; brother, James Ayer.  Joan is survived by her son, Jeff Schwenk; close cousin, Sherry (Durwin) Durnion; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; cats, Abby and Molly.

Joan loved taking long rides, dinning out and going to the casino.

Friends may join the family for calling on Saturday (January 30) from 11 AM – 1 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY, where her funeral service will be held at 1 PM.  Interment in Macedon Village Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joan's name may be directed to Advent House 1010 Moseley Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 or to The Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.
