Joan M. VanHoesen

Palmyra: Joan was born on January 8, 1956 and passed away on November 22, 2014 at age 58.  She is predeceased by her parents, Dermott and Margaret Quinn.  Joan is survived by her husband of 40 years, Larry VanHoesen; daughters, Lisa (Greg) Cook and Valerie VanHoesen; brother, Robert Quinn; many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Joan worked for many years at Mane Image in Victor, NY as a master stylist.  She was a loving and devoted mother who loved her family, her dog Roxie, traveling with her husband Larry, camping and boating.

Friends may join the family on Friday (November 28) from 4-7 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 123 East Jackson St., Palmyra, NY.  Joan's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (November 29) at 10 AM at St. Katharine Drexel Parish at St. Anne's Church, 136 Church St., Palmyra, NY.  Her interment will be in St. Anne's Cemetery.  Please consider contributions to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450, in Joan's memory.  To leave the family a condolence, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
