John C. Becker

Penfield:  John was born on January 27, 1918 and passed away on September 22, 2014 at the age of 96.  He was predeceased by his wife, Jane Becker.  John is survived by his son Roger (Carole) Becker; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Kurt) Brownell and Zack (Cherie) Becker; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Luke.

John proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in the Philippines during World War II.  He was a fire fighter in Olean, NY for 22 years.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Highland Hospital (4th floor West), the hospice team and the staff at Atria at Penfield, especially Paul Molisani, for their devoted care to John.
