John Russell Chase

Macedon:  Passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the age of 76.  John is survived by his wife, Deborah Chase; his children, DiDi Chase, Russell (Kate) Chase, Danielle (Jason) Carr, Jessica (Dan) Hankinson, Jamie (Michelle Perz) Simons, Leia (Mat) Jones; grandchildren, Emily, Ashley, Megan, Mallory, Jonathan, Theodore, Aria, Wyatt, Wynne, Everett, Everly and Daphne; nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends including his best friend Tom.

John made friends everywhere he went, and his career spanned more than thirty years with BOCES where he was a child psychologist; having had a large impact on the lives of many young adults.  He loved shooting skeet, the gun club and the company that came through being part of the organization.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of visitation on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 10AM to 1PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 State Route 31, Macedon, NY 14502.  A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of John will follow at 4PM at the First Baptist Church of Fairport, 94 South Main Street, Fairport, NY 14450.  Interment services will be private.  To leave a condolence, order flowers, upload a photograph, or light a candle, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
