Ontario: John passed suddenly on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the age of 80. He is predeceased by his parents Robert and Gladys (Grunst) Domm and son Robert.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Marilyn and son John (Stefani).
John's parents and family owned Domm's Bowling in Rochester. John proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Following his service, he devoted his professional life to the manufacturing industry, spending over 35 years at Eastman Kodak before continuing his career with Cardinal Health for 4 additional years. He was an avid bowler and a talented photographer, capturing moments that brought joy to those around him. His love for youth and community was evident in his roles as a T-ball coach and a scout leader, nurturing the next generation with patience and understanding. John also served as an elder, treasurer, and representative in his local Presbyterian Church, where he was involved in mission trips to Mexico and Nicaragua, sharing his faith and compassion with those in need. His commitment to service was further exemplified through his participation on the Wayne County Recycling Committee, advocating for a sustainable future.
A memorial service for John will be held on October 16, 2025, at 1:00 pm at St. Martin Lutheran Church, 813 Bay Road, Webster, NY 14580. Burial will be held privately at Furnaceville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Williamson Community Center or Honor Flight .
