Passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018.  John was born on April 27, 1933 in Lackawanna, NY to the late Hugh and Marie "Hardy" Jackson.  He was also predeceased by his son Gary and two brothers. He leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Norma; daughter Betty Dennany; four granddaughters, Megan (Brandon) Greenwald, Laura Jackson, Kara (Mike) Hallman and Amanda Dennany; three great grandsons; Evan, Cameron and Henry Greenwald; extended family and friends.

John enjoyed his second home in the Adirondacks, golfing, wood carving as well as many other hobbies.  He was a graduate of RIT and a retired as an industrial engineer from Xerox.
