John E. Lancer, Sr.: Earned his Angel wings on Friday, April 29, 2022. He joins his younger brother, Fred, who earned his wings on August 30, 2021; along with many other family members and friends. John was born and raised in Lima, NY.  He had a career as a truck driver. When he retired he moved to Florida, where he lived for many years. He returned to NY to be with his son John E. Lancer, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Shannon and was known as "Pops" to them.

John is survived by his Son, John Jr. and Daughter-in-law Shannon, who took excellent care of him. Also survived by his sister, Sally Cascini and brothers, Tom (Rose), and Leo (Barbara).
