Rev. John R. Paust

Webster: John was born into eternal life on Saturday,  June 16, 2018. Predeceased by his parents, Mary Ellen and Einar. Survived by Lana, his devoted wife of 47 years; children, Wendy (Angelo) Baron, David (Robyn) Paust, Daniel (Young) Paust, Michael (Melissa) Paust, all of N.J.; Amy (Matthew) Scerra of Webster, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and sister Barbara (Waldo) Hart of Wayland, MA.

John was a graduate of Middlebury College  and Princeton University. John was a marriage and family therapist. He retired from Family Service of Rochester and established the N.E. Counseling Center.  For many years,  he served as interim and part-time pastor for several U.C.C. and Presbyterian Churches.

A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held at 2PM, on Saturday,  August 4, 2018  at Immanuel United Church of Christ,  1973 Ridge Road, Ontario, N.Y. 14519.  In John's memory, please make a generous contribution to your local food pantry.
