IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joseph Robert
Wizeman
December 7, 1968 – January 3, 2026
Joseph Robert Wizeman "Joe"
Palmyra: Passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 57. He was born on December 7, 1968. The youngest of seven children, Joe grew up on his family's dairy farm in Palmyra, NY. Joe attended Morrisville College, where he earned his associate's degree in agricultural business. He was a dedicated farmer and worked for over 23 years at the Wayne County Water and Sewer Authority. Joe worked alongside his family at their snowmobile shop and raced snowmobiles. Joe loved sharing his hobbies with others, especially his children. He proudly passed down the things he loved most, farming and snowmobiling, which created memories that will last a lifetime. Above all else, Joe was a family man. He always put his loved ones first, had the biggest heart, and his children were truly his world. Joe also loved animals, especially his many family Shih Tzus. Anyone who knew Joe, knew his unforgettable laugh, and quick wit. He was the funniest guy in the room and brought joy wherever he went.
Joe was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Wizeman and Nancy "Rabbitt" Wizeman; his brothers James, William, and Thomas Wizeman. He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa "Fischette" Wizeman; his cherished children, Lydia and Samuel Wizeman; his siblings Matthew, Tim, and Suzanne; his many nieces and nephews; and his numerous friends who were like family to him. Joe was truly one of a kind and will be forever missed, but his laughter, love, and legacy will live on in all who knew him.
