Judy L. Seth

Sodus: On June 25, 2016, Judy went to be with her Lord and join her beloved husband, who she has deeply missed since his passing in 2006.  Judy was born on February 12, 1944, the daughter of Arthur and Lois (Schumacher) Van Norway.  Judy was a lifelong resident of the town of Sodus.  She was a nurse for over 50 years and was very devoted to her profession.  On February 14, 1981 she married John Seth, Jr.  They both were a family care provider for the DDSO.  Barbara Eggleston lived with them for many years and considered them to be her mom and dad.  Judy was an active member of the Alton Free Methodist Church.  She was a member of the Sodus Town Ambulance for several years.

Judy is survived by her aunt Alva Schumacher and several cousins.  Also by her extended family of close friends, Diane (Pat) Scoville, Michael (Lara) Scoville, Don and Deb Milliken and many more friends, too numerous to mention.

Per her request there will be no calling hours.  Judy's memorial service will be held on Saturday (July 2) at 11 AM at the Alton Free Methodist Church, Alton, NY.  Her burial will follow in Ridge Chapel Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Alton Free Methodist Church, Rte. 14, Alton, NY 14413.  To leave the family an online condolence, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
