Julio A. Genuro

Clifton Springs: Julio was born on March 19, 1922 in New York City, to the late Michael and Maria Genra and passed away on April 24, 2015 at age 93.  He was predeceased by his wife, Sarah Genuro; siblings, Rose DeMartino, Helen Catania, Henry Genuro and Virginia Genura.  Julio is survived by his daughter, Julie (Matthew Pacella) Castle; sister-in-law, Freda Comstockl nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Julio proudly served his country in the United States Army, during World War II.  He worked for Corning Glass Works for 38 years as a Polisher and Grinder.  One of his favorite sports to watch was baseball and was an avid Yankees fan.  The family wishes to thank the staff of Clifton Springs Nursing Homes for their great care to their loved one.

Julio's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (April 29) at 10 AM at St. Peter's Parish in St. Felix Church, 12 Hibbard Ave., Clifton Springs, NY 14432.  His burial will take place in Chapel Knoll Cemetery, Coopers Plain, NY at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Julio's name may be directed to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.  To leave the family a condolence, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
