June Ann Rosser   "Collett"

Walworth:  June passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 28, 2016, surrounded by her family, at the age of 89.  She was born on February 5, 1927 to the late Jefferson and Lillian Collett.  She was predeceased by her sister, Jean (Earl) Garbee.  June is survived by her husband of 66 years, Howard; son, Rick (Lisa); daughters, Elaine (Jan) and Emily (Sam); grandchildren, Graham (Genevieve) Derek, Veronica, Jo-Ann (Daan), Rick (Annabel), Lindsay, Sarah (Scott), Mikayla; great grandchildren, Carmen, Benjamin, Eloise, Lenora June, extended family and friends.

June was born and raised in Hamilton, West Virginia.  She is a graduate of Parsons High School and Davis and Elkins College.  She and her family moved to Walworth, NY in 1969 where she became an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ontario, NY.  She participated in the women's group, Friends For Fellowship.  She enjoyed knitting, cross-stitching and gardening.  Her greatest enjoyment came from her grandchildren and sharing in their activities and accomplishments.  She will be greatly missed, but remembered fondly by her family and friends.

A memorial service  to celebrate June's life will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at 11AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Ontario, NY, 1638 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY 14519.  Interment private.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the church, or to the Upstate NY Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, c/o the Al Sigl Center, 1000 Elmwood Ave., Suite 300, Rochester, NY 14620.  Online condolences may be left at www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
