In Loving Memory of Katherine (Hutchison) Grissom

Kathy passed away unexpectedly on May 29th, leaving a legacy of profound faith, selfless love, and devotion to her family. A truly independent and strong woman, Kathy’s journey on this earth was guided by her deep belief in God.

Growing up, Kathy was much more than an older sister; she was a caregiver and a second mother to her younger siblings. Her selflessness defined her early years and laid the foundation for a lifetime of putting others first. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, offering comfort, guidance, and unconditional love to anyone in need. Above all, Kathy loved her family fiercely, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she nurtured.

She is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Billy Grissom; her cherished son, Keith Grissom; and her parents, Robert and Marjorie Hutchison.

Kathy is survived by her six siblings; JoAnne (Christopher) VanGorden, Thomas (Sue) Hutchison, Margaret (Craig) Maddock, Patricia (Christopher) Bolan, Mary (Mike) Runne, and Robert (Kimberly) Hutchison. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Katherine will be offered on Wednesday, June 10, 9:30 AM at Church of the Assumption, 20 East Ave., Fairport, NY 14450. Katherine will be laid to rest in Farmington Friends Cemetery.
