Katherine Shepard, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, at the age of 79. Katherine was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Estelle Martin; sisters, Sister Estelle Martin (Margaret) and Janet; and her grandson, Dylan.

Katherine is survived by her husband of 57 years, George Shepard; children, Mark (Kim) Shepard, Melissa (Bob) Herson, and Molly (John) Engert; grandchildren, Jacob, Allison, Grant, Wade, Tyler, Sydney, and Thayer; and several nieces and nephews.

Katherine was especially known for her remarkable green thumb. Family traditions were of utmost importance to her, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, instilling in them the values of love and togetherness.

A mass for Katherine will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 11:00 at St. John of Rochester, 8 Wickford Way, Fairport, NY 14450.
