Kathy was involved in activities with the American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, St. Michael's School in Newark, Boy and Girl Scouts, and 4H. The most special times in her life were her love of spreading the Word of her personal Savior, Jesus through World Day of Prayer services, Bible studies and prayer groups. She cherished her time spent with friends at the Ladies of Grace group led by dear friend Norma Davis. A woman of prayer and faith, she was strengthened daily by her Lord and Savior. She "planted seeds" during her life telling others about Jesus wherever He placed her. Kathy loved to travel, especially to the mountains. Long Lake held a special place in her heart. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Kathy was a special lady who loved others with her whole heart and will be missed sorely by those who were blessed to know her.
