Kenneth J. Eaton

Williamson: Kenneth was born on March 16, 1921 and passed away on December 23, 2014 at age 93.  He was predeceased by his son, Norman Eaton.  Kenneth is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mavis Eaton; son, Richard (Vivian) Eaton; daughter, Jane (David) DeGroote; daughters-in-law, Sandy (Roger) VanDerBrook and Linda Eaton, wife of Norman; grandchildren, Todd (DeeDee) Eaton, Kristy (Tim) Daves, Michael Eaton, Marcy (Rob) Wren, Jessica (Phil) Nelson, Doug (Becky) DeGroote, Bethany (James) Haswell and Alison (DJ) Moore; great-grandchildren, Jena, Justin, Jacob, Kenly, Ty, Nathan, Emma, Jonas, Jack and Grace; sister-in-law, Charlotte Tickell.

Kenneth was a lifetime member of his church.  He was the original owner of Wimson Farms and Eaton's Dairy.  Kenneth worked for Eastern, where he was a breeding technician for 37 years.  He enjoyed bowling, softball and golf into his 80's.  Kenneth was always smiling and will be missed.

Kenneth's memorial service will be held on Friday (January 2, 2015) at 1PM at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 1973 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY 14519.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to the church or to the Pines of Peace, 2378 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY 14519, in Kenneth's memory.  To leave the family a condolence, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
