Larry Carl Hovey passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Larry was predeceased by his daughter, Jennifer Marie (nee Hovey) VanLeuven. Larry is survived by his wife, Linda Pletcher Hovey, their two sons Jonathan Carl Hovey and Andrew Charles Hovey, as well as their wives Libby Lee Hovey and Kathryn Anne Hovey, and their grandchildren Jane Athelas Hovey and Josiah August Hovey. Along with his sister Judy Ann Hovey. Larry has worked for Bausch and Lomb for over 40 years as a Mechanical Engineer, in Research and Development, contact lens development and International plant set up. Larry served in the Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. Larry was involved in Christian Education, inner-city ministry, and Bible Education.

Larry's Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 1 PM at Webster Christian Reformed Church 1344 State St. Webster, NY 14580.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Rochester Christian School Foundation.
