Leo E. Williams

Rochester:  Formerly of Victor, NY, Leo passed away on June 24, 2019 at age 76.  He was predeceased by his loving companion, Dan Newton; sisters, Joan and Dawn.  He is survived by his children, Misty (Andrew) Irwin, Amber (Eric) Hutchinson and Drew (Chaz) Stebbins-Williams; grandchildren, Caleb (Janice), Hannah (Mark), Rachel (Evan), Elijah (Emilia), Leah, Abigail, Hadassah, Analiese, Eliana, Éowyn, Evangeline, Genevieve and Josephine; 5 great grandchildren; beloved four-legged child, Lady; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Leo proudly served his country in the Unites States Navy.  He and his partner, Dan traveled throughout the United States and abroad, visiting Europe, the United Kingdom, the Mediterranean, Turkey, Hawaii, Mexico, and the Caribbean Islands.  Leo was a very talented artist, with his primary median being water color painting. He enjoyed gardening, music, movies and scrapbooking.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Tuesday (July 2), 6:30 PM at Anchor Christian Church, 375 Beaver Rd., Rochester, NY 14624, where a reception will follow in the Church hall. Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the ALS Foundation, www.alsa.org.  To leave the family an online condolence, light a digital candle, or to upload a photo, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
