Leta V. Strong

Ontario: Passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at the age of 75 in Zephyrhills, Florida. Leta was born on July 24, 1940 in Rochester, NY.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Strong; daughters, Brenda Lee Kerber and Billie Jo Holmes.  Leta is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Sam) LaMonica, Bonita Jones, Amanda (Tim) Vermeulen and Bobbie (Carmen) Strong; grandchildren, Lisa Wilson, Samantha LaMonica, Sara Wright, Christine, Jenna and Ashley Jones, Tanya, Jagger and Brandi Strong, Shauna, Franki, Carmen, Jennifer, Christopher and Sally Musso, Nicole and Richie Kerber; many great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis (Pete) Maier; brother, John Stauffer; many nieces and nephews; dog, Max.

Friends are invited to join Leta's family for calling on Friday (December 11) from 4-7 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1961 Ridge Rd., Ontario, NY 14519.  Leta's funeral service will be held on Saturday (December 12) at 11 AM at North Ontario United Methodist Church, 7200 Ontario Center Rd., Ontario, NY.  Interment in Furnaceville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Leta's name may be directed to the American Heart Association, 25 Circle St. #102, Rochester, NY 14607 or to any animal shelter.
