Linda Ann Burdick suddenly passed away on Friday August 16, 2024, at the young age of 43. She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years Keith Burdick; stepson, Hunter Burdick; dogs, Tahoe and Star; sisters, Emily (Anthony) Herbst and Rebecca (Claude) Beckett; brothers-in-law, Frank (Laura) Halpa and Jerry (Krissy) Burdick; nephews, Benjamin, Raymond, and Lucas; nieces, Anna and Eleanor; mother-in-law, Diane Burdick; along with many family and friends.

She is predeceased by her parents, Ray and Kathy Schreib; grandmother, Pauline Schreib; as well as her mother-in-law, Karen Bauer and father-in-law, Jerry Burdick.

Linda, a Wayne Central Alumni, class of 1998, went on to further her education at Edinboro University where she was also a part of Gamma Sigma Sigma sorority, where she met some of her lifelong friends. She received her Bachelor of Psychology degree in 2002.

Linda had a 17-year career at Monroe Boces #1 as an administrative assistant. During that time is when she met the love of her life, Keith. Linda and Keith were married in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2014 surrounded by their family and friends. They built a life of happiness and love.

She loved spending time at their camp in Avoca, NY; reading and adding to the library in her "Carolina Room". Her family and friends always knew her love of the movie Jaws and Stephen King's Christine. Her kind heart and selflessness will be missed by all.

A Celebration of life will occur on Sunday, September 1st 1:00pm at Linda's sister, Emily Herbst's home. Family and friends are all welcome to attend. A private inurnment will be set at a later date decided by her family.
