Lois passed away peacefully after a long illness at the age of 87. She was predeceased by father, Leon; mother, Eleanor; and brother, Lawrence. 

Lois is survived by her daughter, Susan (John) Harriff; sons, Brian (Celene nee Nguyen), Kevin (Jennifer Chiarilli), and Darin (Lisa nee Jankowski); grandchildren, Aryanna Denk and Ayden Russell; great grandson, Milo Denk; sister, Linda (Andrews); and several nieces and nephews.

Lois graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in Rochester, NY; she worked for and retired from Spencerport Central School District. Lois was a long-time member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Rochester, NY where she made numerous long-time friendships, served on the church council, participated in multiple committees, and was a member of WELCA. Lois was an avid reader and enjoyed making cross-stich gifts for family, friends, and beyond. She also enjoyed bowling, gardening, watching movies, and an occasional glass of wine. She was also known for giving people really great hugs.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on May 27, 2026, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1549 Dewey Avenue, Rochester, NY 14615.
