Allen, Loretta M.

Ontario:  Formerly of Rochester and Gouverneur, NY passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the age of 77.  Loretta was born on December 27, 1937 in Bangor, NY to the later Bernard and Francis (Phillips) Collins.  Loretta was one of nine children.  Having spent most of her younger years in the Gouverneur area, she graduated from high school there, married William Allen on July 17, 1966 and moved to Rochester, NY where they lived for 35 years before coming to Ontario eleven years ago.  She worked for many years as a nurse's aid in the home health care industry.  Loretta enjoyed camping and going to church.  There was a special place in her heart for children and enjoyed making paper dolls with them and watching them play.

She is survived by her husband  William Allen; four children from her first marriage; George, Beta, Cherie and Carolyn; five children from her second marriage; William jr., Christopher, Laurie, Elaine, and Christine; three step children; Karen, Francis and Cheyenne; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
