Lorraine J. Tome

Palmyra: Born on September 1, 1931 and passed away on March 16, 2015 at age 83.  Lorraine was predeceased by her mother, Rita; son, James; sister, Irene.  She is survived by her children, Judy (Kent) Schneider, Jerry (Linda) Tome, Jay Tome, Joni Hartman and Jeffrey (Kim) Tome; grandchildren, Keith, Jamie, Chris, Lori, Josh, Justin, Jennifer, Shawn, Allison, Wesley, Kate, Bradley, Evan, Amanda and Jay Jr.; many great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Barbara Tome; sisters, JoAnne Liberati and Doreen Angeline; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Lorraine owned and operated Lorraine's Hair Hut in Palmyra, NY for many years.  She worked at Hotel Sellen and Garlock House for many years.

Friends are invited to join the family for Lorraine's calling on Friday (March 20) from 4-6 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 123 East Jackson St., Palmyra, NY, where her funeral service will be held at 6 PM.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday (March 21) at 9AM at Palmyra Village Cemetery, (meet at the Vienna St. gate).  Contributions in Lorraine's name may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620.
