Louis Frank Santangelo

Red Creek/Town of Wolcott:  Age 72, passed away at his home surrounded by family on November 8, 2022. Lou was born in Gloversville to Louis Santangelo and Yarmilla Novak Santangelo.   He graduated from Bishop Burke in Gloversville in 1968 and FMCC in 1970. He raised his family in Canajoharie, NY before retiring to beloved Blind Sodus Bay in Red Creek, NY.   He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Cindy Fowler Santangelo, as well as his daughter Tracy Santangelo, Sabrina and husband Ryan Cooley, and son Louis Santangelo. He was a diehard New York sports fan – Yankees & Jets along with Syracuse University teams. No one was louder on the bench for his children's sports team than him, much to their chagrin. He could talk anyone's ear off; whether he was debating sports or politics, and always told you his opinion. Per his wishes, there is no funeral or memorial service.
