"Lue"

Macedon/Spencerport: Passed away with her family by her side, on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at her residence.  Lue was born in Rochester on July 23, 1930 to Elmer and Elizabeth " Carnecki" Ebner.  She was predeceased by her husband Elwood "Bill" Nothstein; sons Michael K. and Dennis A. Nothstein.  Lue is survived by her daughters Nancy Knight-Nothstein and Penny (Charles) Clemmons; 4 grandchildren, Andrea (Chris) Stack, April Creech, Dennis and Charles Knight, three great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Lue served her country through the United States Air Force between 1949 and 1951.  She worked for many years with Boces and took an interest in the Special Olympics.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 2-6PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 Route 31, Macedon.  A brief service honoring Lue's service to her country will be offered at 2PM.  Interment will be private.  Memorials in memory of Lue may be directed to Special Olympics, 1 Grove Street, #216, Pittsford, NY 14534.
