Gonzalez, Margaret Jean

Macedon:  Passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the age of 63.  Margaret was born on June 8, 1950 to Elmer and Rose "Galatro" Gonzalez.  Margaret was predeceased by her parents and her sister Frances Worrall.  Survivors include her son, John (Jennifer) Simons, and daughter, Jessica (Elisandro) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Darrah, Ian, Isabelle Simons, and Emiliano Gonzalez; brother Aurelio "Ty" (Lucy) Gonzalez, other family and friends.

Margaret was brought up on Long Island and had moved to Macedon, from Florida, several years back.  Her guilty pleasure was watching the soaps on ABC and she had a love for the NY Mets.  If former players were in the area she would make an effort to get out to see them.  In addition to the NY Mets, the Hamptons and other beaches out on Long Island brought back memories of her home area.  Her son, John, indicated that Margaret also enjoyed the Virginia Beach area.
