Marion Sheldine McDonald (Shelly)

Shelly passed peacefully on October 1, 2023, in Clifton Springs New York. She was born on September 27, 1935, in Owen Sound Ontario to the late Sheldon and Muriel Bell. Preceded in death by her youngest daughter Helen Elizabeth and nephew Mark Ellis, she is Survived by her sisters Barbara Munn and Lynda Ellis, children Michael (Bonnie) McDonald, Melanie (Ty) Whitehair, and Gregory (Debra) McDonald; Also survived by grandchildren Matthew, Mollie, Megan, Hollie, John, Patrick, James, Lily, Carrie and Mark, nephews Myles and Jeffery. Shelly had 26 great grandchildren at the time of her passing.

Shelly enjoyed reading and was a talented seamstress who enjoyed making, and giving gifts of her handywork, Shelly cherished time spent with family and friends. Her children were the love of her life, and she joyously was able to see them in her last days.

Shelly spent her final work years nursing at Clifton Springs Hospital; The family is thankful for the tender care she received in her last days by her fellow nurses at Clifton Springs.
