MARJORIE JANE VANNICOLA

GREECE: October 12, 2022, passed away peacefully at age 89. Predeceased by her husband, Robert Vannicola; sister, Arlene Bouras; brother, Robert Aklin; and dear grandson, Philip DiFulvio. Jane is survived by her children, Carol (Bill) Moriarty, Mark (Gail Jagger) Vannicola, and Kathleen (Pete) DiFulvio; grandchildren, Colin and Travis Moriarty, Jennifer (Dustin) Dudley, Philip (Tanya) Jagger, Caitlin (Scot) Laney, Nicholas (Courtney) and Stephen (Noelle) DiFulvio; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Jane was very active in her church and took great pride in starting a church library for all to enjoy. She worked as a library aide at Greece Athena High School until her retirement. She and Dad loved to camp and created many wonderful memories traveling throughout the United States, Canada and Europe with family and friends. She loved to read books, was involved in the Red Hat Society and was an avid gardener, belonging to her local g arden club. Jane enjoyed playing cards, dominoes and especially a lively game of mahjong with lifelong friends. We will miss her delicious cooking and baking, especially our favorite crazy cakes.

The family would like to thank Tiffany, Raychel and Tena for their ongoing compassionate care of Mom.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 29th at 10:00 AM at Greece United Methodist Church, 1924 Maiden Lane, Rochester NY 14626. Interment private. Donations may be made to GUMC or the Parkinson's Foundation Greater Rochester Chapter, 1000 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester NY 14620
