Ayers, Marjorie Veryl     "Briggs"

Palmyra/Canandaigua: Passed away peacefully on Friday evening, September 19, 2014, with her family by her side at the age of 92.  Marjorie was born on May 16, 1922 to Frederick C. and  Margaret  (Hilderbrand) Briggs in Tyrone, PA. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Raymond in 1994.  She is survived by her daughter, Deborah "Debbie" (Eric) Bradley of Palmyra; son, Raymond "Ray" (Kathleen) Ayers of Lakewood, NY; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Janet Shildt and Joyce Leamer, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Marjorie enjoyed gardening, crochet and knitting. She  liked country music and her favorite hymn was In the Garden.

There will be no prior visitation.  Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at noon, in Acacia Park, 4215 Tonawanda Creek Road, North Tonawanda, NY 14120, for her funeral service and interment.  Memorials in memory of Marjorie may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.
