Obituary

Marjorie Jean Wohlabaugh passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 80 after a long illness.  Marjorie was born on April 9, 1943, in Lackawanna, NY and was the daughter of Ernest and Elizabeth Lang.  Marjorie was raised in Blasdell, NY where she attended Frontier Central School when it opened in 1955.  Marjorie also attended Bryant and Stratton after her high school graduation in 1961.  She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Arthur Wohlabaugh; daughter, Gretchen Schoen (Gregory Schoen); grandchildren, Lauren Park (Keven Molina) and Emma Park; and sister, Suzanne Gigliotti (Frank Gigliotti).  Marjorie's brothers, Paul Lang (Yae Lang) and Charles Lang (Cathy Lang) predeceased her.

Marjorie was an avid music lover.  She was a member of the Holy Trinity Church choir for more than 20 years. It was a joy for her to be part of this group both for the music as well as the friendships she enjoyed.

A private viewing will be held for immediate family on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1961 Ridge Rd, Ontario, NY  14519.  A Funeral  Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Rd., Webster, NY  14580.
