Marjorie "Marge" Coon Witt, 97, from Palmyra, NY was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who passed away peacefully on October 30th, 2025. She was born on June 30th, 1928, in Farmington, NY to Sherwood and Margaret (O'Toole) Coon. Marge graduated from Macedon Central School and retired from the American Can in Fairport. She was known for her extensive travels, hosting wonderful family get togethers and holidays at her Lake Ontario and Florida homes. Her kindness, humor, and love of flowers stood out to all that knew her.

Marge married Herbert Witt in 1965, and together they built a life filled with family, values, and traditions.

She is survived by her children Betty (William-deceased) Duncan, Robert Orbaker (Annette Posman), James Orbaker, and John Orbaker (Darlene Mahnke), Survived by grandchildren, Ann Marie (Belcher) Easley, Randy Belcher, Ronda (Duncan) Frank , Sherry (Duncan) Knepp, Tracy (Orbaker) Silcox, Mike Orbaker, Tori (Orbaker) Jensen, Aimee Orbaker, Michelle (Orbaker) Hooker, Jesse Orbaker, Paula (Orbaker) Clifton and Meghan Orbaker (deceased) and many great grandchildren.  Her surviving siblings are Donald Coon, Ken "Sonny" (Shirley) Coon, Marilyn (Coon) Garnsey, and Eileen (Coon) Deryke. She was preceded in death by Herbie Witt, Alvin Orbaker, and siblings Oscar Coon, John Coon, Mary (Coon) O'Conner, Betty "Tuzzy" (Coon) Howard, William Coon, Elenor (Coon) Vanderwall, Richard "Dick" Coon.
