Mark Steven Mahatcke passed peacefully on Saturday, October 31, 2026, in his family home, since 1904 on Sodus Bay with his son, Thomas and caretaker, Julie.  Born August 4, 1955, to Raymond & Jane Mahatcke, Mark always spent summers on Sodus Bay with friends and family. He had a unique love for life that attracted everyone he met. Mark helped many through his journey in life with love, faith and kindness.

Mark is survived by his 3 children, Thomas R. Mahatcke, Steven M. (Melissa) Mahatcke and Bonnie J. Mahatcke; granddaughter, Penelope; also, his loving sisters, Laura Kerr and Mary Plummer.  

All that knew Mark are welcome to attend Mark's calling hours on Sunday, November 15, 2026, from 12 - 2 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1961 Ridge Rd. Ontario, NY 14519.  A celebration of life will follow calling at the Ontario Gulf Club, 2101 Country Club Lane Ontario, NY 14519.
