Froome, Mary E.        "Cieminis"

Walworth:  Passed away, peacefully, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the age of 91.  Mary was born on October 29, 1922 to Robert and Pauline "Ramsey" Ellison in Texas.  She was predeceased by both her parents and her husband, Lt. Colonel USAF, Samuel Froome, Jr.  Mary is survived by her son Samuel (Susan) Froome, IV and daughter Carol (Arvydas "Andy") Cieminis; grandchildren, Edward Fikes, Mark Froome and Amy Lapsley; one great-grandchild; other family and friends.

Mary was the wife of a career Air Force Lt. Colonel.  During the years in which Samuel was active in the USAF, the family found themselves moving every couple of years.  Mary was a registerd nurse and would find work at the local hositals where they were living.  Her granddaughter, Amy, describes her grandmother as the epitomy of the "Church Lady".  Mary worked many tireless hours for the United Methodist Church of Anaheim, CA.  She was involved with cooking and sewing for the church.  She enjoyed giving of herself for others.  Perhaps the skill that Mary will be most remembered for was her quilting.  Beginning at the age of 7, Mary quilted well into her eighties.  She made dozens of quilts for family and friends throughout her life.  Mary could be described as selfless.  Always more concerned for the well being of others over herself.

Services for Mary will be held privately.  Condolences may be left at www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
