Mary Ann Kmiecik, age 84, passed away on February 11th, 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard Kmiecik, Sr., with whom she shared 62 years of marriage. Leonard passed away on October 15th, 2020, at the age of 84.

Mary Ann is survived by her son, Leonard (Donna) Kmiecik, daughter, Carolyn (Tom) Lomax, and granddaughter, Megan (Chris) Jones. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family who will miss her dearly.

A devoted member of her community, Mary Ann proudly served by volunteering with the Ontario Historical Society, Birthright of Ontario, and St. Mary's of the Lake Church. She was an active participant in Martha Ministries, Religious Education, as well as in creating banners, priest robes, communion outfits, and altar server robes. Her hands and heart were also present at the church's yearly garage sales. Mary Ann was a woman of many talents. She loved sewing, playing the piano, making quilts, and cooking—her specialty.

She will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and love for her family and community. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation from 3-5 PM on Monday (February 17th) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1961 Ridge Rd., Ontario, NY 14519.  Her Catholic Mass of Burial will be held on Tuesday, (February 18th) 11 AM at St. Mary's of the Lake Church, 5823 Walworth Rd., Ontario, NY.  Mary Ann will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
