Michael J. Formanek  "Mike"

Palmyra:  Passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018.  Michael is survived by his blended family which included his wife Suzanne; sons, Joshua & Dylan and Daniel & Jason. Michael was grandpa to three beautiful grandchildren; Bailey, Isabella & Colton.

Mike grew up in Seattle, Washington where he enjoyed camping and fishing with his Parents, Joe and Jean; along with his sister Debbie; niece, Jennifer and many cousins.

Mike enlisted with the 82nd airborne of the United States Army following his graduation from high school in 1977.  Upon completing four years, Mike was honorably discharged.  He had learned how to drive tractor trailer during his time spent in the service and would soon go to work for the United States Postal Service, following his discharge, where he spent over 35 years as a truck driver.

Mike will always be remembered as a stand up guy who would give you the shirt off his back. Other fond memories of Mike include his dedication and loyalty to his second family, the United States Postal Service, cross country trips with his wife Suzanne, his love of gaming,  NYS lotto, coffee & his beloved kids, grandkids and English bulldog, Rosco.
