Murphy, Michael "Mike" Patrick Palmyra/Macedon/Ontario: Died suddenly on February 10, 2012 at age 41. Beloved husband of Kris; father of Collin and Shaun; son of Margaret Murphy and Stephen (MaryLou) Murphy; brother of Dan (Amanda); nephew of George (Cindy) Trapp; son-in-law of Ann and Charlie Schmidt; brother-in-law of Mike (Kim) Cahill; uncle of Ashley, Amanda and Hannah Cahill. Also survived by many cousins and friends. Mike was a New York State Licensed Funeral Director and was owner of Murphy Funeral Services of Ontario, Palmyra, and Macedon. Mike was also involved in many civic and professional organizations and had a joy for life that marked all of his actions. All are invited to call 3-7 PM on Monday at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 1961 Ridge Rd, Ontario and 3-7 PM on Tuesday at the PAYNE & MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 1040 Rt 31, Macedon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Wednesday at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish at the St. Mary's of the Lake Church, Ontario, followed by his Committal Service at Palmyra Cemetery. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in Mike's memory.
