Michael "Mikey" Prunella passed away on February 6th, 2025 peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. His infectious smile, warm laughter, and unwavering kindness will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Mikey had a heart as big as his love for life, always ready to lend a helping hand or brighten someone's day with his quick wit and generous spirit.

A devoted husband and stepfather, Mikey cherished his family above all else. Whether cheering on the New York Yankees or New York Islanders, enjoying a day on the golf course, cruising around the Caribbean, or immersing himself in the excitement of horse racing at Saratoga or Belmont with his family, he found joy in life's simple pleasures and shared that joy with everyone around him. His presence lit up every room he entered, leaving an indelible mark on the lives he touched.

Mikey was predeceased by his beloved mother, Kathy Prunella. He leaves behind his loving wife, Rebecca (Wolford) Prunella, and his cherished stepson, Aiden Kingsley. He is also survived by his father, Andy Prunella; his brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Abigail Prunella; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws, who loved him deeply.

While Mikey's time with us was far too short, the love he shared and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His family finds comfort in knowing that his spirit will forever shine through the laughter, kindness, and love he so effortlessly spread.

A celebration of Mikey's life will be held at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel 1961 Ridge Rd. Ontario, NY 14519, Sunday, February 16th, 2025 from 2 PM to 4 PM, where friends and family can come together to honor his legacy and share in the joy he brought to the world. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Aiden's college fund by going to Ugift529.com and entering the Ugift code: U4P-R0A or by providing donations directly to the family.
