Michele A. (Miklusch) Monahan of Walworth, NY passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 30, 2023 at the age of 67 after a heroic battle with PSP [Progressive Supranuclear Palsy]. However Michele never let this condition define her, it was just something she dealt with.

Michele is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Charley Monahan, devoted children Michael and Patrick Monahan whom she loved dearly, her late mother Frances Loiacono Fisher, father Robert Fisher, sisters Cynthia Miklusch Thomasula and Kathleen Fisher DiFranco and their husbands and her beloved nieces and nephews.

Michele [Sis] was always the big sister to Cyndi and Kathleen in all things and loved her nieces and nephews delighting in their accomplishments. She was also a loving daughter-in-law to Charley's parents Jean and Chuck Monahan.

Michele was an avid Buffalo Bills fan [favorite player Josh Allen] and Buffalo Sabres fan [favorite player Danny Gare]. She enjoyed going to both Bills and Sabres games while living in Buffalo. Michele liked playing softball with her sister Cyndi in her early years and later golfing with her husband Charley. When Charley retired recent trips to NYC and California were fondly remembered.

Michele was a 1973 graduate of Lafayette HS in Buffalo, NY afterwards working for many years for Dobmeier Janitorial Supply.

Married in 1981 she moved to the Rochester, NY area with Charley and worked as the Operations Manager for Pioneer Standard Industrial Electrical Products a million dollar business located in Fairport, NY until her retirement.

Michele had a sunshine smile and a hello for everyone she encountered.  She was spirited, loved to laugh and loved her music especially Barry Manilow "dragging" Charley to his live concerts whenever he played in the Rochester area. Michele also loved spending time with her family.

Rest in peace "Mum" we will always remember you and love you.

A private celebration of Michele's life will be held at White Haven Memorial Park for family and friends 11:00AM on Tuesday 7/11/2023.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to the Cure PSP Foundation in Michele's memory at Progressive Supranuclear Palsy .
