Mildred I. Dickinson (William J.)

Palmyra: Passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the age of 110.  Mildred was born on January 26, 1906  and is the last survivor of twelve siblings.  She is the beloved mother of Janice (George) Smith, Challice Compton (Eugene) Flint,  Judith (Dr. Samuel) Ciccio and W. Dallas (June) Dickinson; and grandmother of 14.  She is also survived by many great, and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Mildred was an ardent reader, gardener, baker, seamstress, and knitter. She was hard working, witty, feisty and spirited. Her family tells of how she knitted four scarves last year for her son Dallas; all at the age of 109.  She was an inspiraton to many and will be sadly missed.

A graveside memorial service will be offered on Saturday, May 14,  2016 at 11:30 a.m. at the Furnaceville Cemetery, Trimble Road, Ontario, NY.  Memorials in Mildred's name may be directed to the Clifton Springs Nursing Home and Clinic, Activities Dept., 2 Coulter Road, Clifton Springs, NY 14432.  Online condolences may be left at www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
