Rebert, Mildred B.

Webster, NY/ Lockport, NY:  Passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014 at the age of 101 at Cherry Ridge Care Center in Webster, NY.  Mildred was born in Hartland, NY on July 12, 1913  daughter to the late Anna and William Whitehead.  Predeceased by husband, Forrest L. Rebert and brother, Curtis Whitehead; Mildred is survived by her son, Richard (Cathy) Rebert of Snohomish, Washington; daughter, Jan (Richard) Smith of Ontario, NY; grandsons, Erick (Lori) Smith and Emory Smith; great grandson Avory Smith, other family and friends.

Mildred lived a long and productive life having been widowed for over 30 years, she learned, and took great pride, in being independent and always had a " do it yourself " attitude.  Among the acitivities she enjoyed was sewing and at one time being a part of home bureau.

There will be no public visitation.  Services will be held privately.  Interment will take place at Hartland Central Cemetery.  Donations in memory of Mildred may be directed to the Covenant United Church of Christ, 4449 Main Street, Gasport, NY 14067, or, the Lockport Public Library 23 East Ave., PO Box 475 Lockport, NY, 14094.
