Ontario – Nancy passed away on March 12, 2026 at age 77. She was born to the late Edward and Josephine Alborn in Rochester, NY.

Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Phillip McMullen.

She also shared a lifelong friendship with her closest friend, Sandy, who passed away recently.

Nancy was a wonderful wife and mother who loved and nurtured her family unconditionally. She was known for her gentle nature, warm smile, great laugh, and the genuine care she showed to everyone she met. Nancy had a special love for animals, especially her spoiled dogs, who brought her great comfort and companionship throughout her life.

For many years, Nancy worked as a school bus monitor for the Wayne Central School District, where she dedicated herself to helping special needs students. She took great pride in her work, always offering patience, kindness, and encouragement.

Nancy is survived by her children, Tim (Roxanne Pyles) McMullen and Lori (Jeffrey) Cox; grandson, Ryan Cox; siblings, Shirley (Doug) Montgomery and Gary (Sandy) Alborn; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may gather for visitation from 5–7 PM on Wednesday, March 18th, at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1961 Ridge Rd., Ontario, NY. A memorial service will follow immediately after visiting hours.

Nancy will be laid to rest in Furnaceville Cemetery.
