Nancy McFarland  "Widger"

Pittsford:  Passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 15, 2021.  Nancy was born on August 12, 1947 in Oneida, NY to the late Grace "Rich" and Carl Widger.  Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother and beloved spouse.  She is survived by her husband Newt McFarland; son, Harley (Colleen) McFarland; grandson Mac McFarland; sister-in-law Jean (Tony) Heidel and many dear friends she considered to be family.

Nancy was a lover of art, antiques, home renovations and gardening.  Nancy had the opportunity to travel to Paris for a year as she pursued her education in painting and art.  When returning home, she married her lifelong partner Newt, who together would celebrate their 56th wedding anniversary this month.  Nancy and Newt operated a successful antique business for many years.  They also found a passion for renovating homes together and Nancy enjoyed working alongside Newt adding her artistic flare both on the inside, and the outside of a home.  Nancy had an enthusiasm for life, whether taking great pride in her endeavors at work, or enjoying a libation and some laughter with close friends, she enjoyed life.
