Landry, Noella R.

Fairport/Macedon:  Passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the age of 86.  Noella was born on December 24, 1927, in West Chazy, NY, to Elmer and Alpheda Deno.  She is predeceased by her parents; husband Fernand and son Brian.  She is survived by her daughter Judy ( Michael) Orsburn; son, Larry (Kathy) Landry; daughter-in-law Mary Jean Landry; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Lewis (Pat) Deno; sisters, Barbara Landry, Anita Jasmine and Janice (Charles) Lombard; many nieces, nephews other family and friends.

Noella enjoyed building doll houses in her younger years, with her father, and continued to do it through her adult life.  Her husband, Fernand, would assist her and the two built over 30 doll houses including furnishings and even electric.  She enjoyed country and western music.  The family was quite musical and they developed the Landry Family Band . The band would play at receptions and square dances.  Noella enjoyed singing.  She also liked to call square dances. The family would take annual trips and in some cases they would camp as Noella enjoyed the experience.  She and Fernand had an RV and they would travel to craft shows and they would display and offer for sale their doll houses.  In later years, Noella and Fernand took a trip to Europe.  Noella enjoyed having fun and the family recalls that she was a big tease.

Family and friends will gather on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 11-1PM, at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 Route 31, Macedon, NY where a service will follow at 1PM.  Interment will follow at Macedon Village Cemetery.  Memorials in her name may be made to a charity of your choice.
