Patricia Gwendolyn Fouque    "Patrice"

Passed away at the Leo Center for Caring in Irondequoit, NY on Sunday, April 24, 2016.  Patricia "Patrice" was born on September 19, 1938 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada to the late Alfred and Ethyl Petersen Muryn.  She was predeceased by her husband Wolfgang "Hans" Fouque on March 8, 2013 and brother Joe Muryn.  She is survived by her daughters, Gwendolyn Tigerlily Wendel and Pamela Klein; granddaughters, Sondra L. Gamble, Jessica (Chad) DiBiase, Sara Ann Klein and Rebecca Klein; boyfriend, Steve Snell; brothers, Donald (Myrna) Muryn and Frank (Patricia) Muryn; nieces, nephews, extended family in Germany, many friends and dog Pango.

Patrice was an independent,  professional hairdresser for many years. She loved people and had many clients that were in nursing homes where she would visit and handle their hairdressing.  In later years she worked at Perkins Restaurant, in Penfield, as a waitress. She was active and enjoyed the YMCA, linedancing, traveling, cross country skiing and the live music at Browncroft Community Church with her granddaughters.  She had a knack for fashion and always enjoyed looking her best.  Patrice loved family dinners, especially around the holidays.   Her favorite saying was "Jack it up a notch" and "Paying everything forward".

Friends and family are invited to gather for a memorial service to celebrate the life of Patrice, on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 9AM at the Browncroft Community Church, 2530 Browncroft Blvd., Rochester, NY 14625.  Online condolences may be left at www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
