Patrick J. Ford

Canandaigua – Pat passed away suddenly on September 14, 2021 at age 82.  He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Elizabeth Ford and his sisters, Peggy, Shirley, Margie, and Ellen.

Pat is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lillian; children, Lisa, Joseph (Yara), Eugene (Tracy), and Sandra; grandchildren, Alexis, Lilly, Maeve, Aiden, Liam, Ethan, Adriana, Ronan, Patrick, and Aspen; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Pat was a graduate of Aquinas where he participated in The Mission Bouts. He continued his studies at Marquette University. He was a huge college basketball fan who was always rooting for whomever was playing Syracuse. The same was true for whomever was playing the Yankees.

Pat was the owner of the Dining Furniture Center where his sales expertise was always on display.

Pat always loved being on the water which started with his parent's cottage in King Ferry on Cayuga Lake to his boathouse on the City Pier on Canandaigua Lake.

Pat was the friend of many, most whom had just met him for the first time. Pat's 5-minute conversations usually ended 2 hours later. He will be sorely missed by many and loved by all!

Family and friends may gather for visitation from 2-5 PM on Sunday (September 19) at Johnson and Kennedy Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Canandaigua, NY 14424.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday (September 20), 11 AM at St. Mary's Church, 95 N.
