Obituary

After a long and active life, Ralph Leonard Howell passed away on January 26, 2025, after spending the day surrounded by family.  He was born on July 5, 1933 in Clyde, New York to Louis Fane and Doris Drable Howell.  He worked for Goulds Pumps for 40 years except for the years he spent in Germany serving in the US Army during the Korean War.  Ralph lived in Clyde his whole life where he and his wife, Mary Jane (Buliteri), raised four children.  Mary Jane passed away in 1993 after 32 years of marriage.  Ralph was fortunate enough to share the last 25 years of his life with his loving companion, Lisa Ippolito..  The two shared many hours working side by side in their beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. Ralph loved to be outdoors and was an avid hunter and trapper.  He enjoyed welding and creating anything you might imagine.  He once said he could "fix anything, even a broken heart."

Ralph is survived by his girlfriend, Lisa Ippolito; son, Mark (Peggy) Howell; daughter Lisa (Peter) Kendt; son, Brian Ralph Howell; son, Jeff (Faith) Howell, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
