Raymond J. Maier

"Ray"

Ontario: Ray passed away on November 16, 2017 at age 88.  He was born in July 3, 1929 in Rochester, NY to the late Gerald and Sophie Maier.  Ray was also predeceased by his children, Carolyn Jean and Paul Michael.  He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Margaret Maier; son, Mark (Karen) Maier; grandchildren, Jacob and Hallie Alexander.

Ray met his lifelong love, Margaret, at Allegany State Park through a youth group.  After being together for 2 years, Ray was persistent on asking Margaret to marry him and proposed to her on 3 different occasions.  On May 6, 1961, Ray and Margaret were married.  Ray worked for RT French for 30 years as a data analyst.  He loved his place of employment and enjoyed all of his co-workers.  Some of Ray's passions included singing, dancing, listening to music and being outdoors with his family.
