Richard J. Janson

Palmyra: Sunday, May 4 ^th , 2014 at age 67.  Richard was predeceased by his parents, Elwood and Mrytle Janson.  He is survived by his wife Roxann Janson; daughter, Rebecca Janson; sister, Peg Teitsworth and Debbie (Art) Smeatin; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Richard enjoyed playing baseball for Garlock's "Old Timers Team".   After 37 years of employment, Richard retired from Garlock in 2005.  He enjoyed camping and watching NASCAR, especially Richard Petty.

Friends are invited to Richard's memorial service on Monday (May 12) at 3 PM in Farmington United Methodist Church, 5925 County Road 41, Farmington, NY 14425.  Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association 160 Allens Creek Road, Rochester, NY 14610 or American Heart Association 25 Circle St. # 120, Rochester, NY 14607 in Richard's memory.  Condolences may be left at www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
